Tracking around south eastern Burma being led by our guide to a bunch of Buddha caves. Some caves went right through mountains from one side to the other. Some went deep underground and some gained a lot of altitude. There were some very slippery paths and a lot of sketchy surfaces and railings we had to Travers. One of our team took a pretty serious tumble and sprained his ankle. It was a pretty dodgy adventure and not for the unadventurous but we all had a really great time and got to know some really nice local people along the way.. Additionally the weather itself was quite an adventure. As we set out it started to monsoon but our trusty driver pushed through the deluge in our crusty old three wheeled tuk tuk, across streams, traversing monster potholes and sliding through and getting stuck in the mud. Over hill and literally through mountains we discovered amazing caves, wonderful markets and people and for the few of us brave enough to climb the sketchiest of escarpments and mountain ridges or duck and slither through ever smaller cave holes with bats and birds pooping on us from above, finally got to see some incredible view and sights.
